Hi, I'm Rei. Just like you, me and my wife have been thru this very challenging, yet amazing journey of finding and pursuing our own "1st home investment in Cavite."
Prior our purchase in Mar 2009, I worked as an Engineer at EPZA, Rosario, Cavite and my wife as a Management Staff at Cubao, Metro Manila. When we got married, we started off to rent a 2BR apartment in Bacoor, Cavite. In search for our 1st home, we had 2 site trippings, the first one being much off our budget (at P13,500/mo in 2009) for a project just behind SM Bacoor. (Just to put context, Bacoor and Imus via Bgy. Talaba access was still the most popular of all Cavite locations at the time.) After knowing the price, we were so upset, furious and surprised by the sad reality - even professionals in his/her mid-management status cannot afford even a small house in a decent location.
Finally, there was a project located at the boundary of Kawit & Imus, just few minutes from then (to be opened) CAVITEX, at P5,400/mo for 30 years thru Pag-Ibig, it had a much bigger floor and lot area, it wasn't in a established location then, but was about to become one. (I mean look now in 2024 at how big ticket developers located their projects right after CAVITEX - EVO City by Ayala, & Maple Grove by MegaWorld.)
Law & behold, fast track to 2024, the property has appreciated in value atleast 3-times from P800K to atleast P2.4M.
Then we realized, the key to investing well is to know where the major INFRA roads are going. And the key is INVEST NOW!
